What is a home
sleep apnea test?
Portable technology has made it possible for patients to have portable home sleep equipment sent to their home.
Sensors are slipped on a finger, strapped across the chest, and looped over the ears.
While you sleep, information is gathered on mobile device about sleep patterns, leg movements, blood oxygen levels, heart rhythm, breathing and snoring. Tests can be 1-3 nights in duration.
Board certified physicians specializing in sleep medicine promptly evaluate the information, provide a diagnosis and recommend treatment.
